Shipping & Returns

Please allow 5-7 working days for dispatch to most capital cities. Please allow more time to regional areas. Note: Item will not be dispatched until payment has been received in full.

We only use couriers to freight our products. Someone must be home to sign for the delivery. If in the event that the courier arrives and there is nobody at home they will leave a “Call in Card” in your letter box. You will then need to contact the courier and arrange another delivery time.


Important Notice:

The obligation to the purchaser under this policy is limited to the replacement of the item at our discretion when the product is returned to the place of purchase, all transport and labour costs in relation to the replacement of the item will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Any claim made in relation to this warranty is solely limited to the cost of replacement of the product. No acceptance of other liability for incidental or consequential damage is covered. This warranty becomes VOID if the product was not INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED LICENSED ELECTRICIAN or has been tampered with, damaged, repaired by a non qualified electrician or becomes faulty in any way through improper use. Normal wear and tear, accident, abuse, or failure to use the product in accordance with normal operation of the product is NOT covered by this warranty.


Warranty Conditions:

This warranty is limited to the product being REPLACED ONLY and does not include labour costs, freight or reinstallation costs. The product warranty is limited to defects in workmanship only and does not apply to loss or damage caused by abnormal use. The warranty will not cover the entry of foreign matter or influences to the product including but not limited to liquid, moisture, dirt, dust, or electrical fluctuations. Power supply faults or influences resulting in damage to this product are not covered under this warranty. You will need to attach a copy of the Product Invoice and the Electrician’s receipt of installation for your warranty to be valid.


Return Policy:

We do not accept exchanges or refunds for change of mind.


Defective Products:

Products found to be defective upon arrival or installation is subject to the warranty conditions. Upon arrival of the product in its original packaging back to Amoré Lighting, it will be tested by our technicians. If the product is deemed to be faulty, Amoré Lighting will replace the items free of charge and ship the product back to the customer. If the item is not deemed to be faulty, it will then be shipped back at the purchaser’s expense.


Free Shipping:

The free shipping promotion will apply to most areas and we reserve the right to charge a discounted freight for the very few cases such as in the states of WA, NT, QLD, TAS and non-mainland Australia where distance or remoteness results in higher than normal freight charges. For those cases were we need to charge freight, the client will have the option of paying the discounted freight or of cancelling the order for a full refund. If in doubt, we can work out the freight, simply send us an email with your address details including postcode and town name, as well as the products and quantities required and we will work out the freight for you. Free Shipping does not apply to PO Box address.

To estimate SHIPPING COSTS, please add the product and accessories to the shopping cart and then enter your postcode to estimate the shipping by hitting the estimate button. On the same screen you can also vary the quantity (remember to hit the update button) and estimate those shipping costs.


Amoré Lighting use a range of  reputable couriers, as well as Australia Post to deliver the products. These companies are usually very good and it is very rare for goods to be lost or delayed but this will occasionally happen. Amoré Lighting will be responsible for the goods until they arrive at your home and we will replace them or refund you if they do not arrive, we cannot guarantee that the transport companies will deliver at a specified time.

As we often send by courier, it is important to provide a shipping address where there will be a person able to sign for the goods or provide a safe place where goods can be left. It is best for clients to provide correct addresses and delivery instructions as extra freight charges will be incurred if the courier is unable to deliver the goods.


Damaged Goods:

It is rare for goods to be damaged in transit and we rely on customers informing us of any problems. Please advice the courier at the time (and Amoré Lighting) if the goods delivered show obvious damage. Most of the time damages are minor and replacement parts can be arranged. For example the glass covers of lights may arrive damaged or broken. A fan can still be installed and a replacement glass can be sent direct to the customer, no need for delays in trying to replace the whole fan.


Faulty Goods:

Ceiling fans and accessories are covered by the manufacturers warranty which is usually an in-home warranty. It is best to have the fan installed and then contact the manufacturer for the warranty should service be required. Note that the warranty service will generally cover replacing or fixing the faulty fan but not installing it. This is why it is best to get the electrician to complete the installation even if the fan is faulty. Many faults are really not faults but errors in installation and not covered by warranties. It is therefore advisable to get an experienced electrician to install fans. Other types of fans like exhaust fans are usually covered by an exchange warranty: the faulty fan is sent back to the point of purchase to be fixed or exchanged.
